The post holder will be responsible for managing and delivering all aspects of the Council’s events programme and developing initiatives that create a positive sense of identity across the parish.  

Applicants should have previous experience of work within local government, or experience in the events or conferencing sectors, and a proven track record of developing and delivering a range of community events.  

A strong commitment to continuous improvement and to addressing inequalities is essential, as is the ability to undertake regular weekend and evening work.

NB: This appointment will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.
