Town Deal Consultation

Regenerating Bletchley & Fenny Stratford

In 2020, Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC) were awarded £22.7 million from the Towns Fund to promote the regeneration of Bletchley & Fenny Stratford. Thanks to this funding and Milton Keynes City Council, we now have an opportunity to create more healthy, attractive and thriving town centres in Bletchley and Fenny Stratford.

While this funding is a real opportunity for transformative change, it is important that they spend this money on the improvements that matter most to you. MKCC want to hear your thoughts on the proposals for public realm improvements that are taking place on Queensway and Aylesbury Street, and on the works taking place on Saxon Street to help create an accessible and inspiring gateway into the Town Centre.

You can find out more on https://gbftowndeal.commonplace.is/ or can visit one their consultation events, which are listed below.

The consultation is open until 22 September.

Following the conclusion of this consultation, MKCC will respond to all points raised and come back to the community with a ‘you said, we did’ report detailing how we have considered your feedback.

Construction is expected to start in Summer 2025.

A leaflet outlining details of the public realm and Saxon Street improvements is available from the West Bletchley Council offices on 221 Whaddon Way and from the Frank Moran Centre on Melrose Avenue.
