In 2020, Bletchley and Fenny Stratford was chosen as one of 101 places eligible to bid for up to £25m as part of the Government’s Towns Fund. MK Council has focussed a Town Deal bid on Bletchley and Fenny Stratford, so it can make best use of the area’s current and future growth prospects. Having considered the plans for the area in the Town Investment Plan, the Government has now announced that the area will receive more than £20m funding to deliver major improvements to the area.
