It is Bite Back Week (29 Oct to 1 Nov) and we will be visiting communities around MK in various settings during this week raising awareness around the dangers of loan sharks.
Working with MKCC’s Trading Standards Team and the England Illegal Money Lending Team, as part of Bite Back Week, the Community Safety Team have arranged a webinar to raise awareness of Doorstep Crime & Scams, in addition to raising people’s awareness of loan sharks, exploring the reasons why victims may not want to disclose information and cover issues such as GDPR and safeguarding. The webinar will take place on Thursday 31 October at 11am until 12:30pm.
