Paraders

Carnival is all about the procession.  To march in the parade with your friends and family, or to hear and watch it coming down the road, is a memory many residents have cherished from years gone by.  Whilst we are working hard to keep this local tradtion, it can be tricky.  Gone are the days that many a lorry driver would happily have a group of children waving from the back of their rig BUT we make up for it in enthusiasm and creativity.

Last year saw school children from across the Parish make large walking structures, such as a steam train and airplane.  Complete with costumes to play the roles of train drivers and air traffic controllers!  This year, with every confirmed entry, we will send you your own banner to display proudly.  West Bletchley schools and youth groups can apply for funding or workshops to be carried out on their premises, with their very own Carnival Artists to support the creation of more amazing structures derived from the imaginations of creative little minds.
